This past Saturday, many fellow Mocs and I celebrated the Labor Day weekend with a trip to Magic Kingdom. It seemed like the best way to cope with the withdrawals I’d been experiencing since my first visit to Disneyland this past summer. Let’s just say that wasn’t the most accurate judgement made on my part. It was slightly disorienting to be back in the park I know like the back of my hand after adjusting to landmarks such as the Matterhorn Bobsleds or the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Nevertheless, it was a fun day. Started out spending it with some people I’d met previously before going solo (which is something I highly recommend trying some time–you can do whatever you want, as many times as you want).
Since this was my 40th visit to a park in Disney World, I didn’t feel as inclined to take quite as many pictures as I did in California (a whopping 555, according to my “Cali 2012” file folder), but here are some gems I managed to capture:
I hadn’t seen this show, The Enchanted Tiki Room, since it was “Under New Management.” Finally got to see it in its original incarnation and it’s just too darling. A new requirement for every future trip to MK.
